"The classic wine of Durnberg's region, the Weinviertel Falkenstein Gruner Veltliner shows fresh apple fruit, fine white pepper and cool mineral notes on the palate. Pale lemon in the glass with pronounced aromas of petrol, tar, a strong minerality, soft citrus and green fruits, along with a gentle herbaceous quality. Dry and medium bodied with high acidity, the palate is silky and rich with a creamy mouthfeel of mango, guava, baked pineapple, ripe baked citrus, lemon meringue, and a brisk minerality. A long finish, this is a terrific quality Riesling well worth experiencing!
