A very fruity wine, with citrus notes, very supple on the palate, with elegant bubbles
Domaine des Sanzay has an amazing range of wines from the town of Saumur using primarily Cabernet Franc and Chenin Blanc. This Rose is the smallest production estate wine from Sanzay. It’s 100% organically grown Cabernet Franc from vines with an average age of 30-40 years old. This is a dry rose that has a fruity palate with a background of citrus fruit and elegant bubbles.
Manual harvest. Direct pressing. Fermentation begins without adding yeast in vats at low temperature. The wine is then bottled in the middle of fermentation with 22 g of sugar remaining per liter. The fermentation ends in the bottles, the wine is then quickly disgorged. A brut nature wine with no added sugar or sulfur.
