Creating an apple gin proved to be a challenge, especially without use of artificial flavors. But what we have come up with is a smooth and subtle gin, perfect for enjoying on the rocks.
Light apple on the nose.
Rounded flavor with solely apple and juniper notes.
Created as a sipping or martini gin. Let the flavors speak for themselves, don't cover them up.
RECIPE: DEJA VU
INGREDIENTS
2 oz Red Horizon Apple Forward Gin
1 oz Lilet Blanc
.75oz lemon juice
2 dashes orange bitters
IPA beer
DIRECTIONS: Combine all ingredients except IPA in a shaker with ice and shake until chilled. Strain into a beer glass filled with ice. Top with IPA. Garnish with orange slice.
