The palate is forward, juicy and approachable, brimming with flavors of strawberries and balanced with easy tannin and bright acidity. The Willamette Valley Pinot Noir was structured perfectly for a gentle 10 month élevage in French oak barrels to add depth and texture while retaining its defining freshness and approachability.
For over 20 years Walnut City Wine Works has been focused on producing restrained, elegant wines that reflect Willamette Valley's unique terroir. With the belief that winemaking really begins in the vineyard, they farm sustainably and do their best to stay out of the way in the cellar. Minimal oak is used to preserve the wines' pure fruit and allow them to truly reflect the vintage.
