The 2022 Love Drunk is an intoxicating rosé. Much like new love, it clouds the brain, causes eyes to sparkle, cheeks to glow, blood pressure to rise, and lips to pucker. Provocative aromas of strawberry and raspberry, followed by refreshing flavors of wild strawberry, watermelon rind, and a hint of kiwi.
The pinot noir and chardonnay are sourced from the prestigious Hyland vineyard in the McMinnville AVA. This is one of Oregon's oldest vineyards that consistently produces fruit of high quality. The chardonnay and pinot noir are made separately. The pinot noir goes through a light press and is combined with the chardonnay. This fresh, aromatic rosé from sommelier and winemaker Andre Hueston Mack has vibrant aromas and pairs well with spicy Asian takeout, light grilled foods, or a summer salad.
