Bodegas del Palacio de los Frontaura y Victoria is an estate in Toro, Spain that has over 120 hectares of vineyards. The vines are drip-irrigated at an altitude of over 650 meters. The winery owns the Frontaura y Victoria Palace, a majestic building which dates back to 1574 and is located in the city of Toro itself. The estate is one of of quality and modernity, considered by many to be a standard of excellence in the region.
Dominio de Valdelacasa Cosecha is 100% Tempranillo (in this part of Spain it is known as Tinto de Toro) fermented in stainless steel and aged in French oak casks for seven months. Aromas of concentrated red fruits and spice. On the palate the wine is full bodied with flavors of strawberry and cherry combined with a rich, spicy finish. Give the Frontaura some time to open up in the glass and see how it changes. Enjoy this wine with grilled red meats and hearty vegetables.
