Heavy aromas of wood and vanilla are complimented by dried fruit and coconut. Over time the palate opens up into much more grilled tropical fruit notes. On the palate: Lush and spicy at first taste, particularly winter baking spices. These flavors transform into toasted wood and vanilla flavors followed by subtle hints of dried and exotic fruit.
Aged in toasted new American oak for 3 years, Rhum J.M VO is robust and spirited. It is a crowd pleaser for rum and whiskey drinkers of all ages and is the gateway to enjoying and appreciating older rum vintages. Enjoy it on its own or relish in its brilliance in an old fashioned or manhattan.
